Welcome To Hilton Head's Best Tennis Experience - South Beach Racquet Club!The
South Beach Racquet Club is a long-time
favorite of island tennis players. Located next to the South Beach
Marina in the Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island, the South
Beach Racquet Club is renowned for its friendly staff and intimate
low-country atmosphere. After your tennis match, relax with your
favorite beverage in one of the comfortable rocking chairs that line the
viewing deck surrounding the clubhouse or follow our path to the
world-famous Salty Dog Cafe, just a few steps away!
Summer has gotten off
to a warm start, but the tennis is still terrific here in South
Beach. For those members joining us again for our summer season,
Welcome Back! We are looking forward to your participation in our
summer programs and seeing you out on the courts. For our members
who have taken their summer leave, we look forward to seeing you
in the Fall!
TAHHI MIXER
On Saturday, June 28, TAHHI will be holding their annual "WIMBLEDON Mixer" here at the courts of South Beach. There will be two sessions of play, 10am -12noon and 12noon - 2pm. This is a great event that has several players from other area clubs participating. Please sign up for the event by contacting Pat Leinberger 705-6014. The deadline for this event is June 23rd and spots go very fast, therefore call Pat and join us for a great day of tennis and a celebration of the sport's most storied Tournament.
SOUTH BEACH SUMMER
ROUND ROBIN
Come join us on Friday, July 11th from 4 pm to sundown for tennis, drinks and laughs. We will have a continuously rotating round robin that have you playing good tennis with lots of different club members. To ensure good points for all levels, a high level player will be on each court We had a great time with this event last year and we know that you will enjoy it. Afterwards, join other club members for drinks on the porch. We ask only that each member brings a dish to share. Sign-up is in the Pro Shop. Space is limited so get on the list quickly!
MEMBER FIND-A-MATCH
Each Summer our Pro Shop's Find-a-Match book fills up with very good tennis players' names who are vacationing here in South Beach. If you are looking for some more tennis and are looking to play some different people, please contact Michael and let him know that you wish to have your name and phone number put in a member portion of the book. Several of our members signed up last summer and played some great matches. This is a great way to reinvigorate your game!

to take this time to thank the membership for their patience and
consideration for the summer months. We know that a lot of
vacationers will be moving through the Pro Shop throughout the
Summer. Our Goal is to make sure our members are taken care of.
